Load a large study 2500 instances (800MB) performance

Hi,

I have an MR study that has 2500 instances (800MB)
It takes 30 seconds to display it in the viewport.
I think its performance is not good.

It seems that the image viewer is displayed after completing the loading of all series.
I wonder why we don’t display images after loading the first serie after that the prefetchStudy function will be done to load remain parts.

Do you have a video to share? It shouldn’t have any issues with 2500 slices in the stack viewport. However, if you want MPR (Multiplanar Reconstruction), that’s a different matter.
