OHIF Image slice sync not working with only “ImagePositionPatient”, “ImageOrientationPatient”

  • Image slice sync doesn’t work when 2 different series are selected having similar “ImagePositionPatient”, “ImageOrientationPatient”. The functionality is not working with these 2 tags. I’m aware that “FrameOfReferenceUID” tag is also needed to be same in both the series but can we make this functionality work with only “ImagePositionPatient”, “ImageOrientationPatient”??

What steps can we follow to reproduce the bug?

  1. load 2 series having different number of slices in the OHIF in 2 viewport layout
  2. click on Image slice sync
  3. notice the image slice sync doesn’t work
